Also: Total FOSS whoring. Go get Emacs 22 (the emacs-cvs package in Gentoo) if you're into emacs. Also OpenOffice 2 is really nice, if you're into OpenOffice. I know some people aren't huge fans, but version 2 is pretty snappy and spits nice PDFs.
