neuroticmonk from the airport, looking at cute puppies and kittens and hamsters at the Humane Society (we need... a place where we can keep pets), shopping for books, and just generally getting ready for the semester.
- There's a really l337 hamster at the Humane Society. He can climb up on the bars on his little cage and stay there... somebody go adopt him before I do :)
- I upgraded hackmode last night -- users will note that there's now a 160-gig drive and 512M RAM. You're all welcome :) I'm probably going to take Tim's advice and do the new Gentoo install onto another partition while the system is running, so downtime should be minimal.
- There are a lot of short action films out there -- but SOCKBABY is one of the best I've seen. The dialogue is hilarious, the kung-fu is great, and it has some lovely animation and sound effects and a totally CG monster. Many thanks to Brettzip4096 for the link!
