We had hardly any interactions, except that he and Brian Kernighan wrote us a nice note in a copy of K&R C for our wedding -- because, of course, Paul stereotype441 is the raddest and wrote to them! But it was a beautiful thing to do.

And tonight, I'm sad and worried. It's just the usual things: the more I read about politics in the US, the more I'm freaked out. I'm terrified of people.

I guess there's only really one problem, and that's not thinking of people as people. Oh, that, and campaign finance. That's the other problem.

Also, holy crap, what are we doing with our lives?
