teaching again? ...

In what scientists are calling "actually pretty surprising, and all of my anger and cynicism aside, somewhat flattering", I seem to have just been invited to teach (at least one section of) the intro CS class at IU for the Spring. I don't have another funding avenue explicitly open, but I could probably swing being a TA for something, or get a research gig working on somebody else's project, or just be unemployed-but-productive. OR I COULD BE THE INSTRUCTOR FOR THE INTRO CLASS. But the most important thing is that I make research progress and do my dissertation proposal. But it's tempting. Thoughts?
