Hey, we're in Iowa, visiting Lindsey's family again! They're wonderful <3
Sylvia had her first plane trip *ever*, and she was actually really relaxed about it. I was quite worried that it was going to be hard, but it just wasn't. She just took a snooze on both planes; fussed a little bit on the second one, but no crying-baby-on-a-plane scenario. There will be time for that later, perhaps [0]. (In fact, this is the first time she's ever left Santa Clara County, we're pretty sure.)
She got to meet her great-grandparents! Lindsey's paternal grandparents are both still around, and Annie and Kenny are both sharp and talkative and fairly healthy, and they love her to the max <3 It is very sweet.
I am very, very glad that we no longer live in the snowy Midwest. Norcal is pretty great, all things considered.
[0] Or maybe she'll just be pleasant on planes in general?? We shall seeeee!
