Sunday Assembly -- July!

I probably don't tell people often enough, but we're involved with this secular church-alike organization called Sunday Assembly!

We meet up monthly -- virtually, of course, for the past few months -- and have something pretty akin to a church service! Except it's intended for nonbelievers. And we have talks about, y'know, city planning or art education or the process of teaching ethics, or whatever. And we sing pop songs. I like it a lot! Been involved for several years now. Normally I play drums for the band! Also there are little special-interest groups that sometimes get together to do fun things.

I was the host for this month! I've done it offline before, but this was the first one where I MC'd online. I think it came out pretty well, if I do say so myself! Also the talk was about wildlife rehabilitation, and Lindsey helped with some of the music!

It looked like this!

There might be a Sunday Assembly chapter near you, if this sounds interesting! It was started by some comedians in London, and it's spread to a bunch of different countries; there are currently 40-odd chapters worldwide.

business plan: pouches for kangaroo dads

"I'm a kangarooooo!" -- Sylvia, avoiding pajamas and bedtime
"OK, hop into Dada Kangaroo's pouch!! ... wait, dada kangaroos do not have pouches, usually?? ..."

We will sell external pouches for kangaroo fathers.

They will visibly not look like fuzzy kangaroo-brown fur. They will look EXTREMELY MASCULINE, maybe gray or black, maybe ~~tactical clips~~ and mesh webbing. Kinda like the Ergo Baby we used.

That way, kangaroo dads can (a) be better fathers and (b) get all the social credit associated with conspicuously carrying a child around, as a dad.

How much money do kangaroos have, and how do they give it to us?
