You know how the past tenses of "is" and "go" are "was" and "went"? You might have suspected that the past tenses have different etymologies, and you'd be right, and there's even a word for that phenomenon!
I think I'ma learn to play Go. Who wants to play with me? It looks like there's GNU Go (which has a cute logo), and a pretty frontend to that for the Mac, for you hip Mac kids. Also, sooner or later I'd like to stop sucking so bad at chess, but that's another life-long pursuit...
I also want to make some music, and it really ought to have kick-drum triplets on the quarter notes. There was a set of MIDI drums on craigslist, complete with a double bass pedal, but somebody already bought it. Perhaps I don't need a whole set, but one of those several-pads-on-one-box things. Perhaps I should be (becoming proficient at) playing the dozen or so instruments I've already accumulated instead running out and buying a new one.
Also also, I want to read everything and know about everything else.
