alexr_rwxTonight was rather less ambitious: fairly peppy recovery run, around the Park-Enclosing-Block, except in the other direction. 3.6 miles.
I'm pretty surprised I'm not sore from yesterday! The first time I went out to the mall, I think, was summer 2005... I'd just read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, and I was thinking about how he described hiking up a tall mountain, each step is like a little (Buddhist-flavored) devotional, you're just right there, in the moment, doing nothing except hiking. Step. Step. Step.
I was totally wrecked the next day, heh :)
In further running news: Mom and I are planning on roughing up the Tallahassee Turkey Trot. I'm thinking the 15K version sounds pretty good.
