absentee voting!

For those of us who're going to be away from home on election day... don't forget to get your ballot mailed to you. It's really really easy -- you can do it over the phone. I just called the Leon County elections office:

... and the lady on the other end was really nice, and she had all my information right there, and she signed me right up. Democracy in action... eh, I've got a good feeling about this. The world is not doomed.

Yeah, I really need to do this. I wish I'd thought about it when I was back home over the past few days, I could have just popped in and gotten it done. I guess they'll get it done over the phone though maybe. We'll see.
