- Harnessing the power of "Internet", Andrew the

sault and I did a little bit of research last night, and we found the beginning of the whole "X has a posse" (where X is "Luke Schenscher", or "Tony Danza" or...) meme. The first one was André the Giant Has a Posse, and it was a street meme. That meme has since metamorphized into OBEY GIANT, which is the group that produced the MORE MILITERRY LESS SKOOLS sign, which you may have seen over on 10th street within the past few months.

And that, my friends, is the sound of neurons finding other neurons and people going "Oh!"

(coincidentally, Mr. The Giant weighed approximately 3.25 times as much as me, and stood a full foot and a half taller)

Andre The Giant was a fascinating man. Born in a small town in France, he became a star through wrestling and acting, and finally bought a nice little ranch with some horses to live out his numbered days. His size was actually a type of disease I suppose, quite the abnormality, and he died very young because human bodies just aren't made to be that big.
