Hmm, the eowyn seems to be working again. Aparently all it needed was to sit on the desk halfway deconstructed for a week... now I feel quite sheepish.

That is pretty strange.
If it could die once, it could die again, though, huh? So the PowerBook was a good idea :)

Exactly :) I thought that to myself -- "well, now I don't think it's very reliable..."
Of course, by the same reasoning, the PowerBook could fail, too... I should get another one...
