There's another funny atory about a Taco Bell not taking $2 bills. Also I looked it up and they are printing $2 bills and you can even get an uncut sheet of 32 $2 bills.

All in all the next time i'm going to the bank i'm getting $2 bills and $1 coins. Somebody has to circulate them.
