several items of semi-note!

- Yesterday, I ran to Lennox Mall and back. It took 2:00:41.

- Also, Tim [livejournal.com profile] neuroticmonk and I saw Episode III. I rather liked it, and he did too. Yay! :)

- ... and Richard [livejournal.com profile] falun and I went to a rock 'n' roll concert. The best and most rock-out-ful band that played was The Dudley Corporation, and their drummer looks just like Ludwig Wittgenstein.

well... i think it was a combination of cimmy and me who named the apartments... she's gone and I'm confused, so no, it hasn't happened yet

# You have reminded me of East of Eden, the part where ancillary character A punches main character B because semi-ancillary characters B.1 and B.2 have not been named by their first birhtdays.

# The movie version of the book, incidentally, was James Dean's first film, or so I was told yesterday. (I do not know why I have added this second fact; take it as a benign dispensation, unless you already knew it (in which case I will give you another, perhaps).)

# Name your home.

i did, in fact, not know that

i dub thee (being our apartment) The Place of Wandering Souls and Crushed Dreams, to be known henceforth as, The Place

for example: I'm going to The Place (as opposed to the place)

This is humorous to me on two levels:

1) The Place was the impromptu name [livejournal.com profile] jessejoe and I had been using for our house on Tumlin.
2) The Place was also the name given to the relocated Jake's Place in Spider Robinson's Callahan's Key, one of my favorite SF books.

Still, I fully support this easy to use and multipurpose notation.

namespace overloading rocks, we can nearly always differentiate, by context, what The Place is
