- I can play softball fairly convincingly! I was concerned at first, but then there was a ball coming at me and I put the mitt in the right place, and I caught it! This is somehow easier at 23 than it was at eight. The first game is Monday, versus the mechanical engineering gradstudent team.

- RENT at the Fox, June 2-4 :) We're going to see it on the 3rd (Saturday), for the matinee. You can come too, if you like.

You must beat the MechE's.  For the sake of all computer scientists, you must triumph over the MechE's and the CivE's as well.  This is the natural order of things.

*laughs* It was a really friendly game, very enjoyable :)

We won by mercy rule in three innings (although I wasn't that much help -- I popped out twice and hit a double), but then stayed around after the umpire left to play some softball, with occasional shuffling of team members, because we were having fun.
