"In the middle of a big tornado..."

A coupla days ago, I thought "what if I got a summer internship instead of trying to take classes?" (they're not planning on offering any useful summer classes anyway)

And I sent out some emails, and OKCupid emailed me back and had me take a fairly-fun test that's like "look at this C code"; "do this probability problem"; "talk about running a unix system" ... it's not quite as awesome as the GLAT, but what is?

Maybe they'll decide I'm clever enough and want me to hang out in NYC for the summer ...

And if not, we've always got that mulching business, or whatever :) (also: I'm back in Atlanta. For work-doing purposes. Because there's about tweleventy-three things to do.)

Dude, do tell about the mulching. Is this a computer thing? Cuz if it were me, I'd guess you were composting food, manure, and lawn debris to make high quality expensive nitrogen and nutrient rich mild ph'ed mulch for gardens and nurseries. But I could be a little off....

Somebody out near Jacquie [livejournal.com profile] fluffyevilbunny's house is looking to sell his mulching business, apparently... and I thought business opportunity!!

I hadn't thought about the food and manure yet, though; thanks!

(I /had/ considered having some mulching equipment for people to rent out, if they want to smash up their own yard trash...)
