So if you've been hearing some horrible screeching noises coming out of Center Street South... don't worry -- that's just me. I've pulled out the trombone, which I haven't really played in over a year.
We're going to do a brass ensemble number (A Mighty Fortress Is Our God) at church in the near future.
This is going to be exciting :) Actually, it's not too bad -- I can make all the notes come out. It's just sort of an odd feeling on the lips, suddenly playing a brass instrument after having let this slide since Spring semester freshman year. And it's not a hard song at all.
Perhaps we'll do this more often at church, and I'll have a reason to keep playing :) That'd be lovely.
