- I almost feel bad about relating this, but there was the most amazing exchange after Philosophy class today. One student came up to Johnston and queried, "I'm into sort of new-agey things, like metaphysics... what should I write about?" He handled it really well, and proceeded to not laugh and say that metaphysics is the whole point -- but set her straight, harnessing the power of at least word that was either "spooky" or "fuzzy", I forget which. I'm staggered (elitist bastard that I am) that somebody at Tech uttered "new-agey" to describe her own position, with a straight face...

- School is fun. I've got good classes, yay :)

- It's so nice, how Richard falun and Ross rheavatarin have been hanging around with us in Apartment #2 so much. Everybody likes it when they're around, yay :)

- There are so many books to read and so many things to know about and consider. I need to stop doing things that aren't reading, except possibly all of those other things that I like to do...
