this is a bad impulse

Just walked past a classroom with some students in it, looking like their professor hadn't shown up yet.

And for a moment, I thought about setting my bag down on the front table and announcing "so, I'll be filling in for your professor today..."

... it would probably be more convincing if I checked which class it was ahead of time.
