it's amazing how many different meanings the intonations of "meep" can convey.

I'm at home, back in Tallahassee :)

And my semester is finally over... it took so long to wrap up, but it's all done. And the interesting things, I'll keep on working on, and the unimportant things will be cast out and trodden under the feet of men, like salt what's lost its saltiness.

I've felt really stale, as a person, for a long time, but I think I can fix that. I have a lot of ideas for how to fix it, and now is the time to make some of these happen. So as a result, I'll probably be a less-sucky person :) That's sort of the point, right?

It might involve reading more; I think it will. Also better concentration and mindfulness, better routines, more frequent sanity checks. Am I doing the right thing? What am I thinking right now? Maybe I can be better about dreaming, if I cultivate the right habits. Lucid dreaming, I've heard, rocks pretty hard. Being a body that does that "mind" thing, it seems important to be well-acquainted with that mind thing that I keep doing.

I found a lot of pictures I'd taken a while ago, like from highschool and the first few years of Tech :)

Also: sleep is probably in order.

I'll be around at that point! Come hang out! Would you like to come visit in Atlanta for awhile?

Also: yow, St. Petersburg! You must be so excited! What are you going to do while you're there? And how long 'til you leave? And will you stay in Colorado 'til then, or are you going back to Florida anytime soon, or... ?

I figure I can stay for a couple o' days, though I might want to inform my folks first...

While I'm in St. Petersburg, I plan to get me some contacts in the Russian mafia and slowly work my way up until I'm in a position to take over the world, what else?  In the meantime I might do some dancing, sample the food, see the sights, get to know my host family, and maybe-- just maybe --improve my Russian a tad.

I leave in exactly eight days now!  And it does look like I'll be in Colorado until then, unless I care to fly back home for the next six days, then fly back to DIA, then fly from there to St. Petersburg, but that seems a bit silly.

See you in Atlanta, July 2nd!
