WHEREAS kung fu is sort of dorky (unless you're Garrett lomonthang or someone similarly martially-minded and are going to take it medium-seriously) and
WHEREAS not many people seem to be excited about taking it with me, even for the gentle stretchy tai chi and we're going to do yoga anyway and
WHEREAS I told Justin I'd be on his Ultimate team for the summer and Ultimate is probably more fun;
THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED that I'm signing up for the AFDC summer league!

I have somewhat the same problem, but it never occurred to me that learning martial arts was considered dorky.

*shrugs* The potential is there -- it's what you make of it, I guess :) Which activities are you torn between?

(I've just seen some pretty silly attitudes in the local kung fu classes, at least the ones that happened in the Tech gym...)

I'm actually not torn between two activities(Well, in a sense I'm torn between every outdoor activity that exists, but that's not really the same thing) so much as unable to find anyone who's interested in taking kung fu lessons.
