I almost missed it!

Henceforth, apparently:

- Ask A Ninja is pretty amusing, really :)
- Tanjun Ryu is totally a Super-Secret Ninja Clan. You don't want to mess with these guys. They understand the art of not being seen.
- DIY Ninja Mask, from the Ninja Burger employee manual
- ... and so on. You can find your own ninja pages, I'm sure.

Keep it silent, sudden, and without warning, kids!

ATF agents take down UGA student wearing ninja costume (http://onlineathens.com/stories/041306/uganews_20060413050.shtml)
Federal agents at the University of Georgia for a training exercise Tuesday mistook a ninja-costumed college student as an armed threat, chased him and pinned the sophomore to the ground.

Now, Jeremiah Ransom and his parents are considering filing a complaint against the agents or the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives.

"We're going to talk to a lawyer and see what they recommend," said Ransom, who was cleared of suspicion shortly after the incident.

Ransom was jogging in a ninja costume to meet some friends at Snelling Dining Hall after attending a "spirit week" event at the Wesley Foundation, the campus Methodist organization, where students were encouraged to dress as pirates or ninjas, he said.

Impressive.

the Red & Black headline read, "ATF Rids University of Ninja Threat" and that article hardly does the event justice. The had Jeremy pinned to the ground, knee on his neck, guns drawn for hours. It was RIDICULOUS. When campus police showed up they were like, "this is a college, OF COURSE ppl are dressed funny and acting in a suspicious manner!" HIs "ninja costume" was black pants and a black shirt with a red bandana over his face. The agents yelled freeze from the Georgia Center and he thought it was some friends, so he kept going. They dragged him down and pulled their guns because they thought he had a weapon, which was actually a cell phone. Nice job, ATF (who were having a conference across the street from the Snelling).

Sweet jeebus. I hope those guys got a stern talking-to and a good mocking. That's the sort of thing you shouldn't be able to live down anytime soon. Giving people guns doesn't necessarily make them smarter.
