I'm in Florida! It's Christmas break! Life is good :)

Laura laurapatt came and hung out for a few days, and it was pretty awesome. We rambled around and visited people and went on Capitalism Expeditions and found presents for people. And went jogging. Hooray for Laura (hooray!).

One of the presents we found was Dance Dance Revolution, which is for both of us, but Mom dramamamalama has gotten into it -- nobody can do "Funkytown" with quite as much flair. I totally did the David Bowie song on "difficult" -- stepping up in the world, yes!

This afternoon -- there is impending hanging out with G-UNIT lomonthang and maybe Mark Wang wangosuave. I'm excited to see them.

And! And! No more classes for me. Evar. Well. Until the doctorate. There are eight billion things to learn (and most of them are mathy.)

O Lisa, you are my DDR inspiration! How's your playing been, recently?

I knows! It's a pretty crazy idea, but I think I'ma go out into the world for a while and do something (*gasp*) practical!

Hopefully I can do that practical thing on 10th street, or at least in a dynamically-typed functional language, so they won't think I've gone soft :) But watch me get a job doing JSPs or Visual Basic for a bank or something.
