birthday weekend!

This weekend, I was in Bloomington, hanging out with Lindsey lindseykuper. And it was my birthday!

Lindsey's parents were in town too, and we went to some picnics for new gradstudents and their families, where we spoke to some really clever people working on faster Ruby compilers, how to search through the space of synthesizable molecules that you might like to use in pharmaceuticals, and online fandom communities. Among other things.

Also, we recorded! Here's the video. You can watch it while Lindsey's studying: she may be reading about databases this very moment because today was the first day of classes for her PhD program.

He's a year and a half younger than me, which makes you about a year younger than me. So I guess that makes you young, too!
