your sunday night shipment of internets

I wish my back would stop hurting. It's usually pretty okay -- just right now, it's kind of sore. The tai chi and associated stretching seem to be helping rather more than chiropractic was.

I kind of want a gin and tonic, but we have no tonic.

Which reminds me -- hey Graham [livejournal.com profile] cola_fan, how's it going?

My favorite gin drink:

gin and ice cubes.

When's the last time you saw an M.D.? Sometimes pain can be indicative of an underlying issue, ya know.

Fantastic! Speaking of gin I found this in Helsinki:

Trip reports soon to come.

Hope your back improves, keep stretching.

physical therapists > chiropractors.

my back was messed up last fall due to 18 years of violin, 8 of sousaphone, and many months of continuous sandwich making on a too-short work surface. i thought it was going to be something bad, but it turned out the muscles were not evenly built up, so he helped me stretch on things and build up the tiny weak muscles. now i have no problems, even after many more months of sousaphoning, violining, and sandwich making.

and they're more like a real doctor.
