all twitchy

I haven't been super focused today. I'm all atwitter, like everybody else.

But! I'm taking the day off tomorrow to help drive people to the polls. Let's do this. If we don't swing Georgia, it won't be for lack of trying. South DeKalb will have unprecedentedly high turnout; the rest of the state, we'll see how the other GOTV efforts do.

Yesterday, I had a really good training run -- went out to the mall and back (~14 miles), and took it slightly faster on the way back. On the average, I was going just over 7 mph; this is faster than my target race pace.

I'm roughly ready to scream. But, I think, in a good way.

Yay! As someone who is in an entirely un-swing-y state, it makes me really excited to see people in swing states doing stuff like this. Go out there and be awesome for Barack!

I hope you're driving people regardless of who they are voting for. Otherwise it might be illegal.

Is it totally too late to get in on this driving action?

Because I wanted to be a driver, and I submitted a "Hey I can help! Call me and tell me what to do!" to Barack Obama's website, and nobody contacted me, so I thought maybe they had all the election-day volunteers they needed?

If drivers are still needed/useful, I can be Of Use in the neighborhood of 3:00 - 6:00ish tomorrow afternoon. Send me a text tonight if this is a Feasible Thing. 770-265-0237.
