enough with the questions and answers!

Absentee ballot in the mailbox today?
Oh yes. Most assuredly.

Cobb/LaMarche in '04!!
That's not a question. But sadly, no.
So Kerry/Edwards, then?
Yeah, that'll be fine. He looks more presidential anyway.

Mostly a joke, Mr. Jackson. YHBT, albeit unintentionally. And image, after a fashion, really is important.

John Kerry is one sexy, sexy man.

Surprisingly, I do not say this in jest.

you know... i got my absentee ballot in a while back... it's soooo confusing

i'm considering just not voting because I don't want to do the reading required to make sure I do it right

;)

I just mailed my absentee ballot today. Perhaps because we are from different counties, but my ballot was a single sheet of paper where I marked either 4 or 5 boxes stating who I was voting for, sealed inside an envelope that I signed and dated, placed in a pre-addressed mailing envelope, and dropped off at a post office.

Massive amounts of reading was unnecessary. Far less than a page of large double-spaced text.

Oh man... Richard just popped by and showed me his ballot (and Matt's stratocaster, drool!) -- and it's literally got chads. Like a huge grid of numbered chads...

I think vision- or patience-impaired people near Jackson are practially disenfranchised.

So what are the qualities to look for in a president's appearance, anyway?  I've always been a bit confused by this...

Did you watch the Third Parties Presidential debate (http://www.c-span.org/search/basic.asp?ResultStart=1&ResultCount=10&BasicQueryText=third+party&image1.x=24&image1.y=10)? It was interesting... I don't want to make fun of your political crush... but Badnarik trashed Cobb, who is quite a bizarre person. He seems to get furious at weird times. Then again, I don't really agree with him on much, so maybe that's tainting my view of him.

*laughs* No, I didn't see it, but that sounds great. I'd only heard about it after the fact, actually... but now I'll have to go and watch that.

If nothing else, he handled himself brilliantly on /., which is always good for points with me -- and I tend to agree with most things in his platform. Actually, almost everything, which is slightly disturbing.
