So there was an airport, and it was much like ATL, and my persona was I myself, looking out in the first person. And I kept looking at my airline tickets, and trying to figure out how much time I had left, and what I needed to do between now and then... and for some reason, I decided to stop in this cybercafe in the airport and mess with an emulator and play a Zelda game and maybe do things to the computer that the cybercafe people wouldn't have expected, circumventing their system and making it do what I wanted it to do... and then I looked at the tickets again and was trying to remember what day it was, or what time it was, or what it actually said on the ticket, but either I couldn't work the arithmetic, or coudln't remember, or it kept changing.
And all I had with me was this little blue overnight bag, but I knew that I was going to Europe to see Esther, so I was running through the airport, and I found the Storage Room (which was huge and shaped rather like a parking garage, with ramps going from one level to another), where I found my Other Bag, and I was trying to work out, in a frantic state, what I needed to stuff in the Other Bag, from the Storage Room.
... eventually, I remembered what month it was, and my airline ticket settled out and picked a day, and in my mind the plane wasn't going to leave In Five Minutes, and everything was alright, and then I woke up.
That was not a particularly subtle dream :)
I opted to sleep instead of going and racing this morning, didn't get up until about noon :) The summer's good for that sort of thing...
Today, thus far, I've read the news (no weapons of mass destruction or clear ties to Terrorist Groups found yet and now Operation Iraqi Freedom has been downgraded to "just another battle in the War Against Terror" ... with no WMDs around, how can they possibly rationalize... ? That, and in the very same article, W was claiming that they had, in fact, found WMDs, and an intelligence guy was saying that they hadn't, and that they'd been Looking Really Hard... is that healthy?), eaten, been cleaning and organizing my room (there's so much unnecessary crap in there... it'd be nice to pluck out a few items and then bulldoze the rest of it into oblivion), and thinking about taking a late-afternoon high-speed sojourn through the woods. Ah, and I shaved (with shaving-cream-and-razor) my head again. Yay :)
Perhaps I can track down the Lloydinator and ask him to come along for the run :)
There's a
Low Flying Planes show tonight in Tallahassee -- American Legion Hall, 8pm. I might be found there...
Peace out, kiznids :)
