sitting around and getting places
Jul. 29th, 2003 11:40 pmIf I haven't been updating a lot, it's because I haven't been doing that many exciting things, over these past few days...
The past few days have involved some running, some lifting (I was pretty sore when I got up today from yesterday's lifting, and as a result, I didn't run, although I probably should've...), a lot of sleeping, some Tekken 3 (look out, Shannon (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ayajulia) :*) ), and a good deal of work on the Room Clean-out Project.
Ah, and I've now spoken with all involved parties for the Road Trip to Marty's House :) This is going to be a long-ass drive... we're going to start in Tallahassee and end up in Atlanta, but along the way, we're going to pick up Corey in Tennessee, visit Denise (smileydee) in Ohio, and then pick up Marty and all of his stuff in the lovely Upper Peninsula Michigan village of Newberry. We'll have driven the vast majority of I-75...
Earlier this evening, Natalie and myself dropped Geekmobile off at the car place, where they're going to change his oil and maybe his tires and look over everything to make sure he's good to go about a billion miles from here to Michigan and back.
Hrum, and tonight, I hung out with Brett (zip4096) and Garrett, at Javaheads, where they apparently now have free wireless access, which sounds really nice. So if you're in Tallahassee and you need to anonymously haX0r some l4M3rZ... well, anyway, we had fun. Brett's suddenly got no mane again -- apparently he had to chop off all his hair and shave his beard for a visit with the grandparentals. I think that there's a wide enough gap in Brett's and Garrett's interests and mannerisms that it's odd to be around both of them at once...
... and I think I hadn't mentioned this before, but tomorrow, early in the morning, we're heading out to San Diego to visit some relatives. Yow, not too long after we get back from California, it's time to pack up and get going on the Massive Moving-In Roadtrip.
