these are a few of my favourite things

So as I was leaving Tallahassee, I had the radio tuned to WVFS, everybody's favourite college radio station where Brett zip4096 works... and I heard, on their "singer-songwriter" show, "Jerusalem", by Dan Bern, and I've decided that this is one of the most gloriously cool songs ever written... so that's one of my favourite things (well, sort of a collective Favourite Thing): college radio that gets exposure for obscure music that you'd never have thought to listen to, and the actual obscure music that turns out to be wonderful.

The other one of my favourite things that I'm thinking of right now (another collective) is the plethora of lyrics sites out there, and how they're all indexed by google, and how it was really easy to find that song just from remembering a snippet of lyrics.

Try doing that ten years ago... or five, for that matter...

Technology marches on, and the folks at google are mad clever!

"Dead Week" is probably the week where you die. I'm fairly sure of it. This is going to be exciting :)
