Here, for your listening pleasure (?), is my first attempt at singing, playing the gee-tar, and operating a recording program all at the same time!!

Sooner or later, I might do Beck's "Already Dead", which is similarly downtempo and depressing. I might redo this one some time, too... it should probably be taken a bit faster, and I should probably suck less, but that'll come in time :)

morning thoughts...

So our refrigerator wasn't working too well... it kept on frosting over on one side, and wouldn't stay quite cold enough on the other.

So the same two Maintenance Guys I'd written about a coupla months ago came back (the cool Master Electrician from Bosnia and the soft-spoken black fellow) to deliver us a new fridge, and they remembered us, as The Computer Guys, asking how we'd been and if LUG was still going. But the latter guy mentioned that he still hadn't been able to buy the HD he'd wanted, months ago, when he was trying to figure out how to get his machine fixed up...

... which sucks, because I just bought an entirely new machine, and I'm sure he works a lot harder than I do, so for most senses of the word "deserve"... bleah :-\ I'm not saying that I shouldn't get to have a new computer, I'm saying that everybody should have that option. I didn't do anything special or work any harder than anybody else...
