so much beauty

Man, this is about the most lovely place, anywhere :)
It's so lush and green and alive -- everything's all bright colours, and the rain's coming down, and it's pleasantly warm. I've been sleeping and eating and reading, getting recharged...
And running -- this afternoon, I stepped out the door with no particular plan as to where or how long I'd go run, and it immediately starts a gentle shower, with thunder echoing off in the distance. By the time I was a mile out from the house, the rain was coming down fairly hard, and the thunder was overhead, and it made this glorious white noise, coming down through the leaves, and I got totally soaked... but I saw, as I ran past, two friendly-looking women, out jogging with their big slobbery black lab, and a younger-looking couple, all semi-hippie-ish and strong, walking with their younger black lab, and a guy who was grinning with his whole self, amused to find somebody else who was enjoying running in a thunderstorm as much as he was.
33 minutes, about four miles -- and yesterday, I did just over two miles on the treadmill, barefoot, and then lifted. And I'm about to lift again, today. I'm so pumped. This is going to be a good summer :)
You guys need to start running with me :)
