So far today...

- I ran into Scott gtduck, who thought that it'd be a good and joyful thing to have me play guitar with him (for church, that is) -- this is good, because Scott has a pretty good idea as to what he's doing, whereas I'm just learning... but he'd rather not play alone. Victory for everybody involved. Anybody who thinks that it's odd that as I become less and less convinced of the knowability of Important Stuff, I'm getting more and more involved with the church... well, don't bother raising hands. I think it's odd too. But Scott is cool.

- Other Scott (whose first name is Darren, but he chooses to be called Scott) and Ashwin and I got together to talk about CaseBook (this is the project on which I'm doing my summer research), and we talked about basic statistical-NLU methods and what he wants us to hack up... it'll be pretty cool. Intelligent searching methods, here we come :) Other Scott is also pretty cool, although I think that First Scott gtduck could probably take him.

Hrm. I should probably pop off and do administrative things and go to class.
