"today" is a relative term
Jul. 9th, 2004 08:29 amI've been up since yesterday... and we (Richard
falun and I) put together a really pretty online gallery prototype thing for the HCI project :) Earlier, I was feeling bad because we were just going to make a web-based demo, but it's really not a big deal because we're essentially demoing a web-based thingy... I'd wanted to do a wired version of the wireless parts, for the demo, but that's really not that necessary. And we (well, mostly Richard) made some really neat stuff. I have a new appreciation for javascript...
(if you're curious: http://www.digitalprankster.com/browser.html ... it's just a gallery of pictures, but in the context of what we're doing for the HCI project, it makes sense. And Richard's bits are brilliant. Trust me on this one...)
At around 0500, I left the CoC and had a snack, and then at just before 0600, I went to go work out with Tracy, oddly enough... it was really good for my wakefulness. It's always interesting to try somebody else's (unfamiliar) workout pattern: half hour on an eliptical machine, pushups, some sprinting on the track (there was nobody else in the gym -- it was 6am), and 15 minutes of rowing. Tracy's pretty cool, and it would probably be a good thing to get in the habit of working out early, so I'll probably try to acquire that habit...
And now -- more food, and off to the CoC for a whiles...
