I had some dreams...

In one of them, I had the standard "trying to get to the place but can't figure out where, and can't remember how it was supposed to work out" dream... in my mind it was Sunday, and that Natalie (mi hermanita) was having her first move-in as a freshman this weekend, but I couldn't remember if I was in Atlanta or Tallahassee, or how I was supposed to get there to help, or if I was going to have to drive ATL-TLH-JAX-TLH-ATL all in the same day... I was confused, but it all worked out, because it's neither a Sunday nor a day in which Natalie is about to move to Jacksonville, so we're set.

In the other one, I was with Brett [livejournal.com profile] zip4096, and we were in this large, white-painted building, and we had some sort of invisibility power. And a lot of video games. And we were... almost like minotaurs in a maze, in this building. Some people (Normal people, capital N) would come in, and we would be invisible and eventually catch them and beat the ever-loving snot out of them, sort of in a Ghost-in-the-Shell fashion... I'm not entirely sure why we were doing this, but that's what we were doing. Also, there was an NES with some enormous number of games, including, vividly, a multi-game cartridge with TMNT III and a "The Simpsons" game primarily about Lisa Simpson on it. Also, there was this enormous game where you had to use your real hands to bat at these virtual little balls and letters and things that were flying at you... it had this enormous console that you basically stepped inside.

Make of those what you will :)

Alex R. - I Just Want To Have Something To Do (mp3, ogg)

So I went ahead and recorded this song. I rather like the microphone stand that Marty [livejournal.com profile] samarin made -- it works pretty well. Now I just need to learn to sing well, and to play the guitar. And at that point, I should probably invest in a nicer guitar. And better recording equipment. But the mic stand is good. It's a Ramones song. You should go find the original version. You'll probably like it.

Okay, back to work...
