- Hug somebody. Life is short. Your minutes are very few, and while you're reloading your friends page or lounging around or worrying about packages getting delivered and signing up for classes, people are dying, and other people are being born.
- Because my schedule looked lonely, and because Andrew is taking it, and also because of the ubiquitous "eh, what the hell?" reasoning, I signed up for Linguistics I. I've already taken Linguistics II.
- Soon and very soon, I need to get a research proposal for my project for the semester... this is getting slightly threatening. I spoke with Ashwin for a minute this afternoon, and he seemed to think that he'd sent me links for papers that I should be citing for my proposal, but... thankfully, he's leaving town until the end of the week, and he may need to initial things before Friday, the last day for the adding of courses. Also, the stars are burning out.
- The new eMac showed up this morning in the post office (according to the fine folks at fedex.com), but I've yet to get a "ready to pick up" notice. I feel silly for being so twitchy about this.
- I can play "Something's Always Wrong", more or less as performed by Toad the Wet Sprocket. I heard it at Einstein's today. It's a lovely song, and the band has a funny name.
