(end of dead week...)
Dec. 4th, 2004 12:31 am- I took a nap for a few hours earlier in the evening. But I didn't sleep the night before (Thursday into Friday? ...); everybody loves the cool morning hours: the sky is pale, but all the other colors are bright, and to use Andrew's phrase, "digitally enhanced". You feel like you can see each individual dewdrop on the ground, and you're consistently amazed, each time you put one foot in front of the other...
- Things that are left: the compilers project. The GRE a week from Saturday. (two final exams: compilers and philosophy, but nobody's worried about that)
- Things that are done: Oh, a lot of things. Notably, the translator for NLU and the Plotinus paper for Philosophy...
- Oh, also, I headed over to Pep Boys this afternoon and got a new battery installed in the geekmobile. This, he said, has been a problematic automobile. But now it cranks up just fine. Instead of not cranking up just fine, or in that one case, needing a jump. They said, having looked at it, that the problem (this particular problem) was indeed the battery.
- Maybe I should go back to bed. I think that sounds reasonable.
- Keep it real, O my colleagues. Don't let the Man get you down.
