'(new car!)

dramamamalama and I) popped out to Valdosta earlier on this evening to pick up the new car... much paperwork ensued (and the fellow at the dealership made sure to tell us his whole family history and about all the different cars he's owned and about how his father is a Baptist minister and considering going back for a doctorate in theology...) -- and after what seemed like a Really Long Time, we drove off with a lovely new CR-V. And stopped at Shoney's, which is always a cultural adventure. Also, we got mildly off track on the way back, and explored lovely Monticello, FL.
... so it's really quite pretty :) I'm quite pleased. For a while, I wasn't very excited about it -- but the car has that "well-designed, well-made thing" quality about it. The only thing that remains is naming the thing.
