"Yeah, that's glory!"
Dec. 26th, 2005 01:19 am- *hugs for everybody*
- My sister Natalie has the most amazing aesthetic sense -- she's tuned in to the beautiful and the absurd. For this year's Traditional Annual Picture With Santa Claus That We Take For Our Father, she found, instead of a boring mall santa... a Sprint Store employee -- young, thinnish, black, clean-shaven -- with a mass of yellow balloons and a traditional Santa Claus outfit. She called me up, had me pop out to the local stripmall, and we took our picture. He told us how to update the cell-tower information on our phones afterwards.
- And yesterday I had lunch with Brett
zip4096 and Garrett
lomonthang and it was delicious :)
- Somebody said to me today, "Happy Giftmas!", and I kinda like this idea. And I'm also a fan of how Festivus is building momentum -- what could be better than a synthetic, secular pop-culture holiday?
- I feel good. I'm happy. I've got a pretty good spring in my step these days, and there's a computational linguistics class and AI research waiting to happen when I get back, so yay :)
