the plan. (and makin' stuff work)
Feb. 12th, 2006 06:47 pm- So here's the plan: we re-brand to come across with really strong "we watch too many old low-budget kung-fu movies" overtones. If we could find a way to have samples of bad overdubbed dialogue in the background and make references to our martial arts techniques all the time, that'd be good too. Failing that, I'll just keep on listening to Wu-Tang albums (GZA particularly... this Grandmasters thing is ridiculous...)
- Also: the Sun JVM on Windows cleverly doesn't believe you when you say you trust a signed applet (at least on this machine, and one other I'd checked out)... thankfully you can edit a java.policy file and tell it to let things get at the filesystem... but, I mean -- if you're going to have to edit a file on each target machine (assuming windows; it works fine on macintosh and linux) ... why bother with this whole signed applet thing? (if you're going to say we shouldn't use java at all, you're right)
