March, Sunshine, Lent.
Mar. 1st, 2006 11:59 amIt's Ash Wednesday. Despite any particular issues I might have with any particular major religious traditions, I rather like Lent. Or at least what it might be made into, y'know. Ritual is interesting.
For me:
- no cheese
- no not running in the afternoons
- no not doing a billion push-ups every day (probably mornings.)
- no not getting into that enormous queue of books
- mindfulness. Being better about remembering dreams. Looking into daily meditation.
(Also: I should probably not buy an eMate 300. But they're so cute. And my Aunt Ann had one, explaining "it's like halfway between a PDA and a laptop...")
