Mar. 6th, 2006 08:35 pm- Over the weekend, Jacquie and I popped to Tallahassee for my mother's production of Jane Eyre: This Time, It's A Musical. Mom
dramamamalama was brilliant as Mrs. Fairfax, the hyperactive and hard-of-hearing housekeeper. The story ends up working as musical theater surprisingly well, and they totally lowered scenery components from the rafters!
- Gnocchi are really tasty little potato-y pasta things, and we cooked some last night. They're especially delicious with tomato sauce and chopped up veggies and black-bean veggieburger. (in Argentina, they spell it "ñoquis", which might help with the pronunciation for the Italian-challenged) (man, I want to learn Italian... hrm, and it looks like I've got a pretty good excuse to get into Portuguese now...)
