chemical warfare
Jun. 4th, 2006 12:18 amWith the strength of a 20-Mule Team, I have boraxed the floor. We have put harsh chemicals on the backs of the cats. We are periodically and with ruthless methodicalness vacuuming the carpets with a vac-bag containing a chopped-up flea collar.
We're unusual creatures, we humans. For some reason or another, we want to make the insides of our houses have different rules than the surrounding ecosystem.
(also: the mother and the sister are in town, and we saw RENT and hung out at the park and ate tasty food today, and it was great. The touring company is pretty awesome. Hooray! Every time I see this show I'm amazed at the tempo they take the whole thing at; it's pretty frantic.)
