Wednesday hap'nins

agonistes and I went way out into North Georgia today, towards this tiny independent coffee shop she knows up in the mountains, and we saw the bizarre pseudo-Bavarian town of Helen along the way. And the coffee was really tasty, and we both found out exactly how bad we are at chess. (pretty bad, although I'm probably worse). Hooray for a fun afternoon (hooray!).
- Grahamcola_fan is a gentleman, a scholar... and a terrific athlete. We kicked it oldschool, the traditional Two Campus Loops, and he's really fast. That was the quickest four-ish miles I've done in a long time. Also: he lent me Ingmar Bergman's Winter Light, which apparently bears a striking resemblance to San Manuel Bueno, Mártir... who's up for a movie night?
