(maybe I should go sleep now)
Oct. 23rd, 2006 01:35 amStill in Florida :) I'm flying out tomorrow morning, and I'll be around to work on stuff and hang out and take certain people out to Rincón Latino (whoever else wants to come, you're all welcome) in the afternoon. It was pretty awesome to get to visit with all the relatives who were in town, hooray!
So this afternoon I hung out with G-UNIT
lomonthang and Diana
recycledbabies and we had Chinese food and coffee and walked around Lake Ella and climbed some trees and stuff. I hadn't seen Diana in several years, but it was nice to re-meet her, and it's always a party when Garrett's around, hooray!
Oh! And I got an email back from Google -- thanks to Brett
zip4096's recommendation, they want to look at my academic transcript now? ... hooray, I think!
And now, some links:
- Vote With Caire: in a non-depressing politics-related post, O Floridians -- our very own Thure Caire (of Maclay cross-country fame, age 26 or so) is running for office! He wants to be your Ochlockonee River Ecology Dude, and he's got a degree in biology and related experience with rivers. Can world peace and a healthy river be far behind?
- Khat/Qat/that thing that East-African folks chew on, from wikipedia
- Coca eradication. We're funding it, O my fellow estadounidences. Droppin' those herbicides on foreign countries, alright.
