(Ooh, burn sauce!) ... what could it be that separates out the different sorts of giraffes? Apparently their ranges overlap, and giraffes can cover a lot of distance, as you might imagine. Upshot: there are these giant, extra-visible, well-known mammals out there, and we're suddenly realizing that their breeding habits are kind of mysterious.
