All sorts of fun things, recently!
- Last weekend, we went to a show at Eyedrum with Brett
zip4096. There was some wild bleepy electronic music done by robotcowboy and laromlab (the latter's myspace page is fantastically nausea-inducing; I expect this is intentional), and it was wild and we danced and danced! Later, Brett's associates ASSTOW performed some bizarre experimental flash animation stuff. (the show was so indie that they had trouble getting their projector set up, so Brett and I helped out.)
- Also, Andrew
sault came through to visit last weekend! You'll see him in some of the pictures. He's about to finish his MFA, like the champion poet he is. Hooray, Andrew!
- Saturday, Martin
samarin and his friend Sean
yourusername and a bunch of other guys that I assume Sean knows got together and cycled out to Stone Mountain. We mostly took the Path. We stopped at the Stone Mountain park for a snack, and at that point I realized I had a flat tire. Thankfully, we had a big group of experienced cyclists and really nice guys, and we got it patched up.
- Earlier this evening, we had some friends over for food, in an extra-last-minute Superbowl Sunday dinner party (minus the tv); Mediterranean food, along with the traditional Superbowl Latkas, was constructed by us. We'd like to make it a weekly thing, something along the lines of how those Crazy Portland Kids
sndc do it. Because everybody loves delicious food :) Thanks to everybody who came, at such short notice! What shall we eat next week? Will you join us?
