back in Atlanta!

lindseykuper and I went to OSCON last week, and it was pretty great! We saw all sorts of great talks and chatted with happenin' open-source kids. (slides from talks are here). I may write more about it over on that other blog.
On Friday night, there was the official OMG WTF BBQ at Happy House, and a whole lot of people came over, and we grilled (on Paulstereotype441's brand new grill!), and talked about important issues including the relevant math for figuring out Ben Franklin's genetic contribution to the population of France, furlongs, parsecs, the Linking R, life goals, and Rock Band. The OMG WTF BBQ ended up being the most ballin' of OSCON afterparties -- several OSCON speakers showed up, as did a whole bunch of Lindsey and Paul's other friends, who are all brilliant and wonderful. So much fun!
Also: years ago, I had a dream in which Michael Jordan came to me to tell me that if I was going to be really strong, I would have to learn to do one-legged squats. And I can do one-legged squats now, hooray! :)
