I want to make music. It occurred to me recently that I could learn to write songs, or song lyrics, or poems. Or electronic music. It'd just take getting into the habit of working on it all the dang time. The way to get good at something is to do it a lot.

Also! I got an email from my colleague Anna in the "university programs" office, asking if I'd like to give some talks for CS classes over at Spelman. This is closely analogous to asking my mother if she wants to be in a musical theater production.
