workshop accept! (?)

Hey! My project for the semester got accepted to the Machine Translation and Morphologically-rich Languages workshop!

That's pretty cool. I guess I'll go to Israel?

The comments are interesting:

The relevance of this abstract to the Workshop is very limited: while your ultimate goal is constructing an MT system, it is unclear how the present proposal is related to that goal. ...

The abstract describes only planned work. Furthermore, it only very broadly sketches the proposed work, not even at the level of detail expected from a research proposal.

Both totally valid things to say! I'm in the process of building it, and it's not an MT system, just a semi-related problem. They did say that work-in-progress is OK, though.

But they still seem to have accepted it? Maybe they just accepted everything? ...
