Entry #1301
Aug. 16th, 2011 11:06 pmThat's a lot of entries!
Here's what I said over on GPlus:
----
Holy cow. It's my last week on the job again. GJobs, y u have to keep ending?
Next week: getting married! (to Lindsey Kuper! At the Computer History Museum!)
Subsequent weeks: headed back to Indiana to make minority-language MT systems and twitter network analyzers!
Rest assured, members of my Google Atlanta circle, I am learning me some machines :)
----
... and it's true, what I said.
Also: I need to figure out what I'm going to write where. I think I like Google Plus; that, and there's a lot of people there, and that's pleasant, and there's a lot of conversations going on. I left Facebook some years ago, and I didn't miss it, but it's kind of fun, finding people just a little further out in your web of acquaintances, looking at their profiles, and thinking "should I friend this person?" ...
That's what the kids were doing on Facebook, right? That and the zombie-pirate-farm-mafia-bakery games nonsense?
Hey: moreover: it's my last week at work, putting in a big ol' pile of changes in my last week (although I had my final presentation today, and it went quite well), and we're putting the finishing touches on the wedding.
Team K&R: very soon, with more married-ness.
